**Aviation sheet Metal / Composites Mechanics needed**

Job Requirements

Education/Experience:
A&P license not required but must have at least 6-8 years aviation sheetmetal or composite experience or combination of both.
Knowledge of numbers and operations, and their applications in daily work.
Knowledge of equipment, tools, mechanical devices, and their uses.
Knowledge of materials, methods, and the appropriate tools to construct objects and structures.
Experience in aerospace composites.
Applicant must own a full aviation mechanics tool box.

Overview:
Must be able to read manuals and other FAA technical data to locate materials and procedures relevant to assigned task.
Perform maintenance IAW manuals and other FAA approved technical data.
Document maintenance performed on required forms.
Must be able to accomplish repairs, modifications, EO’s, SB’s etc, with very little to no assistance.
Must be able to fabricate parts.
Repair body or structure of aircraft flight controls, nose cowls, thrust reversers, etc, according to specifications.
Reinstalls repaired or replacement parts for subsequent riveting, using clamps and wrenches.
Locates and marks dimension and reference lines on defective or replacement part, using templates, scribes, compass, and steel rule.
Cures bonded structure, using portable or stationary curing equipment.
Communicates with other workers to fit and align heavy parts or expedite processing of repair parts.
Cleans, strips, primes, and sands structural surfaces and materials prior to bonding.
Understands and follows company procedures and processes.
Able to plan the work in order to meet deadlines.
